Advantages:

a)      It is having a great customer support.

b)      It is purely windows plot form dependent, so it works great/ more suitable for Microsoft technologies.

c)       To compare with Oracle it is less expensive.

d)      Middle level skilled person is enough to maintain/Administrate the DB due to its user friendliness.

e)      Excellent tools available in market to make our work easy and build powerful DB.

Drawbacks:

a)      It is purely OS dependent. Works on Windows plot form only.

b)      Oracle and DB2 are platform independent.

c)       Compare with Oracle it is light weight, so people prefer Oracle for Big database.

d)      Not suitable for all software to compare with Oracle.
